snippet: The intent of this digital data release is to provide seamless, statewide tsunami inundation scenarios in the form of ArcGIS shapefiles for seven scenarios selected for depiction on published Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) tsunami inundation maps (TIM’s). These scenarios include five from local Cascadia subduction zone (CSZ) earthquakes (SM1, M1, L1, XL1, and XXL1), and two maximum-considered distant tsunamis from subduction zone earthquakes in the Gulf of Alaska: a historical maximum that occurred in 1964 (AK64) and a hypothetical maximum (AKMax) with higher uplift and more efficient focusing of tsunami energy at the Oregon coast than in 1964. Also included in this publication are supplemental files that support the tsunami model data publications, tsunami evacuation brochures, education and outreach initiatives, and other tsunami related publications (ex. TIM's).

accessInformation: Varies per community. Generally, the County emergency manager, fire chief, police chief, sheriff's office deputy, city/county planner, and CERT leader, or their designated officials, were present at evacuation brochure meetings where these assembly area locations were determined. Other representatives included: state and federal park/wildlife, local school district, city/county public works, GIS coordinators, and port representatives.
